Although I came too close several times, I never had the chance to actually visit, but as an avid fan of CSI I’m almost a local (at least I know EVERYBODY down at the police station, that has to count for something, right?)
Planning a trip there soon or not, a little daydreaming never hurt anyone and maybe just maybe, one should be ready for a birthday surprise, right? (April 28th in case you were wondering)
So, you will basically need 2 kind of outfits. The day and night ones.
High waisted jeans and crop tops will definitely do for your strolling around the gigantic shopping avenues and sneaker attire is mandatory, the glam-er the better. Gold is a great option, you don’t wanna look too estranged from the posh- kitsch environment. Add your funky cat eyes and tie a light sweater around your waist (you really don’t know how much time you’ll spend in there), sip up your low calorie refreshment and Viva Las Vegas!
As for your night adventures, you ‘ll need a passe partout outfit; whether it’s a Kim Kardashian hosting event at the Tao or so many other more worthwhile things you can do in Vegas, a simple black dress and killer heels will do the trick. Bodycon or fringed, put on your favorite LBD, add an oversized mens shirt for a touch of careless androgyny and carry a clear plexiglass clutch (got something to hide?). For the finishing touch (and in case you get arrested ask for Nick Stokes) a vibrant red or fuchsia lipstick will be your out of jail card.
